The 8th annual Georgia Rides to the Capitol event was a huge success, drawing more than 40 mayors and councilmembers, dozens of state officials and hundreds of dedicated bicycle advocates to the front steps of the state capitol building.

Chamblee Mayor Eric Clarkson Joins ARC Board

Chamblee Mayor Eric Clarkson was recently selected to represent DeKalb County cities on the Atlanta Regional Commission board of directors. He serves on the ARC’s Transportation & Air Quality Committee, which sets regional policy around transportation and builds consensus among ARC, the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), Georgia Department of Transportation and the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA).
